Acceptance of Terms

By using PromptWell, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

What PromptWell Provides

PromptWell is a free AI-powered poetry prompt generator that helps you:

  • Generate creative writing prompts for poetry
  • Explore various poetry forms (haiku, sonnet, free verse, etc.)
  • Discover themes like nature, love, identity, time, hope, loss, freedom, and memory
  • Overcome writer's block with AI-generated inspiration

Our service is provided "as is" and is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PromptWell responsibly:

Allowed:

  • Generating prompts for personal creative writing
  • Sharing prompts with proper attribution
  • Saving prompts to your personal collection (if you have an account)
  • Using prompts for educational purposes

Not Allowed:

  • Scraping or harvesting our prompt database
  • Using our content for commercial purposes without permission
  • Automated access without prior approval
  • Attempting to circumvent access restrictions
  • Reselling our prompts as your own

Content and Intellectual Property

  • Generated prompts are unique to each user session
  • Our prompt generation algorithms and database structure are our property
  • Poetry forms and themes are drawn from the public domain

You may use prompts generated here for:

You may NOT:

User Accounts

If you create an account:

  • One account per person
  • You can delete your account at any time

  • Freedom from bugs or errors

Limitation of Liability

PromptWell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content infringes your copyright:

  1. Send us a notice with:

    • Your contact information
    • Description of the copyrighted work
    • Location of the allegedly infringing content
    • Statement of good faith belief

  2. We will respond promptly and take appropriate action

Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend accounts that violate these terms
  • Disable access for abusive behavior
  • Discontinue the service at any time

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
